WRAPPED - EUROPEAN BEECH in SAPELE
A substantial field of European Beech framed by rich Sapele hardwood. The picture-frame design creates clean lines and visual depth—like a work of art you can actually use.
European Beech brings a smooth, light surface with subtle grain variation. The Sapele frame adds warmth with its reddish-brown tones and distinctive ribbon-stripe figure. Together, they create understated elegance.
Simple composition. Premium woods. Timeless appeal.
MATERIALS:
European Beech center with Sapele frame
- European Beech: Light cream to pale tan, fine even grain, smooth surface
- Sapele: Reddish-brown with golden luster, ribbon-stripe figure, African mahogany family
Both woods are premium hardwoods known for durability and beauty. The Beech provides a generous cutting surface while the Sapele frame adds structural reinforcement and visual contrast.

WHY END GRAIN
End-grain construction is gentle on knife edges, self-healing from cuts, and incredibly durable. The grain fibers stand upright like a field of wheat, allowing knife edges to slip between them rather than cutting across. This means your knives stay sharper longer and your board lasts generations.
This is the same premium method used in professional kitchens. It's more work, takes more time, but it's the right way to build a cutting board meant to last.
