Shipping & Refund Policy

Shipping

Domestic Shipping (United States)

  • Flat rate: $25 via USPS Priority Mail
  • In-stock boards: Ship within 4-5 business days
  • Made-to-order boards: Ship within 3 weeks
  • Tracking: Provided via email once your order ships

Local Pickup (Free)

Available for customers in the Southern New Hampshire area. Pickup location and timing will be provided via email after your order is placed. Typically available within 2-3 days for in-stock items.

Processing Time

Orders are processed in the order they're received. You'll receive email updates when:

  • Your order is confirmed
  • Your board is being crafted (for made-to-order)
  • Your order has shipped (with tracking)

International Shipping

We currently ship within the United States only.

Refund & Return Policy

All Sales Are Final

Due to the handcrafted nature of our cutting boards, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds except in the cases outlined below.

Exceptions

Defects in Materials or Workmanship

If your board arrives with a manufacturing defect (such as loose joints, splits, or structural issues not caused by misuse), please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will evaluate the issue and provide a replacement or full refund at our discretion.

Normal characteristics of natural wood - such as minor color variation, grain patterns, or small knots - are not considered defects.

Damage During Shipping

If your board arrives damaged due to shipping, please:

  1. Document the damage with photos of the box and board
  2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  3. Do not discard packaging (needed for carrier claims)

We will issue a full refund promptly. We package every board with care, and shipping damage is rare - but if it happens, we'll make it right.

Custom & Made-to-Order Boards

Custom orders and made-to-order boards are non-refundable and non-returnable as they are created specifically to your specifications. Please review your order details carefully before completing your purchase.

Quality Guarantee

Every cutting board is built by hand in our Southern New Hampshire workshop. We take pride in our craftsmanship and stand behind our work.

2-Year Warranty Against Manufacturing Defects

Your board is covered for 2 years from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship, including:

  • Joint separation or failure
  • Cracking or splitting (not caused by neglect or misuse)
  • Structural issues affecting function

Not Covered:

  • Normal wear from use (knife marks, patina)
  • Damage from improper care (dishwasher, soaking, lack of maintenance)
  • Warping due to extreme temperature or humidity
  • Damage from dropping or impact

If you believe your board has a manufacturing defect, contact us with photos and a description. We'll work with you to determine the best resolution.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care extends the life of your board indefinitely. Most issues can be prevented with regular oiling and proper cleaning. Visit our Care & Maintenance page for complete guidance.
